Brian Christopher Sexton, Jr., 23, of Scott Depot left this world much too early.
Born September 12, 1990 in Charleston, he was a son of Brian Christopher Sexton and Angela Dawn Pauley. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Billy Jack Sexton, his cousin, Jason Shaffer, his uncles, David Meredith Dent and Timothy Pauley.
Chris was a talented musician/songwriter who also wrote a lot of poetry and was an outstanding artist who loved to draw. Known for his free-spiritedness, Chris leaves behind many friends whose lives have been touched by his presence.
In addition to his parents, Chris is survived by his siblings, Destiny and Josh Sexton, William, Allison and Heather Woollard; grandparents, Sharon Sexton of Scott Depot,, Duke (Maria) Pauley of St. Albans, Linda (Ted) Turley of Farmland, IN; uncles, Dustin Sexton (Sarah Waldron) of Scott Depot, Joe (Laura) Dent of Durbin, Shawn Pauley of St. Albans, Emmitt Pauley of Buffalo, Spanky Pauley of Ohio, Darrell Pauley of Montgomery, Joshua Pauley of St. Albans, Kenny Pauley of Gauley Bridge; nephew, Isaiah; nieces, Skylar and Nevaeh; cousins, Jeannie Dent of Florida and her children, Brittany and Brandon Young. Also surviving is his step-mother, Cynthia Yates.
Funeral service will be held at 11am Saturday December 14, 2013 at Chapman Funeral Home, 3941 Teays Valley Road, Hurricane with his uncle, Rev. Sidney Dent officiating.
